South Africa’s leading sports nutrition brand brings its popular community trail run
back to the scen atic Syringa Park Avianto Estate.
NPL is hosting the next Yellow Army Trail Run on Saturday, 18 April 2026, at Syringa Park, Avianto Estate - and tickets are now available online starting from R50 per person (pets are welcome for free!)
The event caters to a wide range of fitness levels, with three distances on offer: a 2.5km walk, a 5km run and an 8km run. Doors open at 07:00, with starts staggered across the morning. The 8km run goes off at 07:30, the 5km at 07:40 and the 2.5km walk at 07:45. Participants are asked to arrive 30 minutes ahead of their start time. The event is family-friendly, and the trail setting at Avianto Estate makes for a solid morning out regardless of which distance you take on.
“The Yellow Army Trail Run has built a real following because it’s genuinely for everyone even your four-legged family members,” says Cherrie Blackmore, Head of Marketing at NPL. “You don’t have to be a competitive runner to show up - you just have to want to get outside and be part of something. That’s what keeps people coming back.”
NPL has established the Yellow Army series as a fixture in South Africa’s active lifestyle calendar, drawing participants from across the fitness spectrum.
