We are honoured to announce the fourth annual Pink Cradle Ride, a cherished event in our cycling community that continues to grow in both spirit and purpose.
We extend this letter as a heartfelt appeal to you—our valued sponsors—to help us make this year’s ride bigger, better, and more impactful than ever before.
Our 2025 event, held on 6th October, was a true reflection of fraternity, unity, and generosity. With over 250 enthusiastic participants, we proudly raised more than R200 000.00 for the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA), underscoring the profound difference we can make when we come together for a cause.
This year’s ride is especially poignant as we have sadly lost another founding member and true stalwart Vim Naidoo to cancer. It is at times like these that we see the true value of the CANSA Association who do all the support work for patients and families without government funding.
This coupled with the passing of our patron Vanessa Naidoo, whose unwavering commitment and warmth were the heartbeat of our initiative. Hers and Vims legacy now guides us forward, and the 2026 Pink Cradle Ride will be held in their memory, celebrating the values they embodied: compassion, resilience, and solidarity as well as a zest for life.
Vim and Vanessa and all our cycling family members are the reason we do this-Lets do this together. Let’s ride together with a target of 300+ cyclists all dressed in Pink and lets raise R300 000.00 for the CANSA association.
As always, participation remains free, and all we ask is that riders show up in pink to stand united in support of cancer awareness.
